Gokula Nanda Mallik is an Indian politician from the state of Odisha. He is a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and currently serves as a Member of the Odisha Legislative Assembly, representing the Polasara constituency in Ganjam district.
In June 2024, Mallik assumed office as a Minister of State (Independent Charge) in the Government of Odisha. He was entrusted with key departments including Fisheries and Animal Resources Development, as well as Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises. He took oath on 12 June 2024 at Janata Maidan in Bhubaneswar, alongside Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi. The oath of office was administered by Governor Raghubar Das, in the presence of several prominent national leaders including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh.
Mallik was born to Ananta Mallik. He completed his higher education with a Graduate degree in Arts (+3) from Maharshi College of Natural Law. Before entering full-time politics, he was involved in business activities.
Known for his involvement in regional development and governance, Gokula Nanda Mallik has emerged as an active political figure in Odisha, contributing to policy implementation and administrative responsibilities in his ministerial roles.
